Each year approximately 250 young people, ages 7-21, and a team of adult volunteers
present 10 performances during the eight-day Circus City Festival in mid July.
The last day of the Festival (July 21st) features a Circus Parade, complete with horse drawn circus wagons, circus animals, clowns, and calliopes. This is the longest running Circus Parade in the United States.
We have bleacher seating for the parade, which will last about 2 hours.
After the parade, there is time to visit other attractions. There is a carnival in town, with rides and many food options.
We will be attending the afternoon performance of the Circus, held in the air conditioned American Trust Circus City Center. The Circus City Museum is located in the same building and admission is free.
You will be amazed at the abilities of these young adults. They have performed in many U.S. states and have traveled to Monte Carlo for the international circus competition, “Premiere Rampe.” Acts include Flying Trapeze, Multiple Trapeze, Aerial Ballet, High Wire, Juggling, Balancing Bike, Clowns, and many other circus acts.
This trip is perfect for all ages. Departure: Lafayette, Delphi, . Logansport
