Greendale, Wisconsin is one of only three “Greenbelt Towns” in the U.S. built by the Roosevelt Administration
during the Great Depression.

This wonderful Village was designed to look like an English Garden Village and still resembles New England’s Williamsburg.
The quaint downtown Center is lined with over 25 unique shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafes anchored
by the Reiman Publications Visitor Center and Taste of Home Outlet Store.

Join us as we discover why the residents of this small town call it “The Best Blooming Town in the Country”.
During the summer there are more than 40,000 flowers planted along the streets, in hanging baskets, sidewalk beds and
window boxes. A local guide will join us for a fascinating tour of Greendale’s residential area.

Learn the unique history of the “backward house” and tour one of these original homes.

Next, a stop at the Reiman Visitor Center to view a video on the beginning of Reiman Publications (publisher of Taste of Home),watch a recipe demonstration given by one of their home Economist, tour the test kitchen, and visit the Taste of Home Outlet Store for incredible bargains.

Visit the World-Renowned Boerner Botanical Gardens for a docent guided tour of the gardens and arboretum. The setting is reminiscent of an English County manor with glacial fieldstone walls and historic, handcrafted limestone statuary.

The next day we begin with a stop at the famous Mar’s Cheese Castle and then it is on to the Center located in
Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.  Pleasant Prairie Prime Outlet Mall is our final stop.. Discover outlet shopping at its finest with savings of up to  65%  at 90 brand-name outlet stores including The North Face, Tupperware , COACH , Pepperidge Farms, Calphalon, Hugo Boss Factory and many more.
